Job Qualification Requirements:
Constructs, installs, and repairs building frameworks, fixtures, and furniture made from wood and other materials. Key duties include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and performing both rough and finish carpentry.Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications.Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other materials.Construct building frameworks including walls, floor joists, and roof systems.Install doors, windows, flooring, trim, and hardware.Build and install custom cabinets, shelving, and furniture.Inspect damaged structures and perform necessary repairs or replacements.Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.Comply with local building codes and safety regulations.Job Requirements & Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent.Completion of a formal carpentry apprenticeship or 3 to 4 years of proven field experience.Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, levels).Strong physical stamina, dexterity, and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.Good math skills for precise measuring and layout calculations.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
